WONCA World (The World Organization of Family Doctors) and the Social Prescribing and Community Orientation WONCA Europe Special Interest group are launching a survey on Social Prescribing in the European Primary care context.

The purpose of the survey is to map the understanding and usage of social prescribing in Europe.

Both organizations are involved in an Erasmus Plus Education and Training project called SPACE- Social Prescribing and Civic Engagement

The project aims to bring together social prescribing and volunteering to create an environment and approach that supports the health and well-being of people with health and rehabilitation needs, especially those who survive cancer.

The successful Erasmus Plus project is led by the Centre for European Volunteering (CEV) based in Brussels, other partners are: Volunteer Ireland, WONCA (World Organization of Family Doctors), Heaton Mersey Village Conservation Group, HCS (Hellenic Cancer Society), EPR (European Platform for Rehabilitation), MCVS (Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector), IDIAP Jordi Gol (FUNDACIO INSTITUT UNIVERSITARI PER A LA RECERCA A L'ATENCIO PRIMARIA DE SALUT JORDI GOL I GURINA), France Bénévolat.

At the end of the survey, you will have the opportunity to register for a lottery to win a trip to attend the final meeting of the SPACE project in Brussels in 2027. If you wish to participate, you can provide your contact details for inclusion in the lottery.
