Members of the Executive Committee are members of EURIPA and are elected at the Annual General Meeting for a 3-year term. Members can stand for re-election for an additional 3-year term.
Members of the Executive Committee are able to stand for election for President-Elect in the final year of a presidency. When the President-Elect becomes President, at the following Annual General Meeting, the retiring President becomes Immediate Past president for one year.
The Executive Committee also has the power to establish other sub- committees and working groups to take forward EURIPA’s agenda and work programme.
The EURIPA Annual General Meeting is usually held during the EURIPA Annual Rural Health Forum, when elections take place. The current membership of the Executive Committee is shown in the table below:
