In July 2022 our young colleague, Berit Hansen from Denmark, sadly passed away after a long illness. The EURIPA Rural Health Forum 2022, that took place in Sicily, was dedicated to her memory. Berit was our first official Liaison Officer from the European Young Family Doctors Movement. We still miss her enthusiasm and joy for life. She brought dynamism and new ideas to EURIPA.
The Award for the Best Oral Communication by a Young Doctor will be an annual award at EURIPA’s future Rural health Forum dedicated to her memory.
